Why bespoke?
A standard bed is designed to suit everyone. A bespoke bed is designed to suit you. Whether you need an unusual size, a specific fabric, a particular height, or a mechanism that works with your room — we can build it. We have been making beds to order for over twenty years, and there is very little we have not been asked to create.
Our bespoke service is particularly popular with interior designers, architects, and homeowners who want their bedroom to be genuinely individual. We work closely with you at every stage, from the first sketch to the final delivery.

Dimensions
Any size from a compact single to a super king and beyond. We regularly make beds for unusual room shapes, low ceilings, and alcoves.
Fabric & finish
Choose from our curated fabric library — over 200 options — or supply your own. Velvets, linens, wools, leathers, and bespoke weaves.
Headboard design
Panelled, buttoned, curved, straight, upholstered, or carved. We can work from your sketch, a reference image, or design something entirely new.
Storage & mechanisms
Ottoman lift, side-opening drawers, TV lift, or a combination. We engineer each mechanism to suit your specific mattress weight and usage.
Leg & frame detail
Turned, tapered, or block legs in solid wood or metal. Frame profiles from slim and contemporary to grand and traditional.
Mattress
A bespoke bed deserves a bespoke mattress. We make hand-nested pocket spring mattresses to any size, with your choice of natural fillings.
The process
From first conversation to final delivery

Initial consultation
We begin with a conversation — by phone, video, or in our showroom. We listen to what you want, look at your space, and understand your brief.

Design proposal
We produce detailed drawings and a fabric sample pack. You review, refine, and approve before we cut a single piece of fabric or wood.

Handmade in Manchester
Your bed is built by a single craftsperson in our Manchester workshop. Lead time is typically eight to twelve weeks from approval.

White-glove delivery
Our team delivers, assembles, and positions your bed. We remove all packaging and do not leave until you are completely satisfied.

We love working with designers
We have long-standing relationships with interior designers and architects across the UK. We offer trade pricing, sample loans, and dedicated project management for multi-room and development commissions. If you are specifying beds for a project, we would love to talk.
